About Us

At Heart of God Church of Oxford, our purpose is clear and our passion is strong. We are driven by a desire to see God’s love transform lives and communities.

Our Vision

To see the heart and character of God expressed through discipleship and service.

We envision a community where every individual deeply understands and embodies the divine attributes of God. This is achieved through dedicated discipleship, a journey of spiritual growth and learning and through selfless service to one another and to the wider community. We believe that as we grow in our understanding of God’s heart, we will naturally reflect His character in our daily lives.

Our Mission

Community transformation through the study and application of God’s Word and building the body of Christ.

Our mission is active and outward-focused. We are committed to bringing about positive change in Oxford and beyond. This transformation begins with the diligent study of God’s Word and by allowing its timeless truths to shape our perspectives and actions. We then apply these truths in practical ways, we participate in building up the body of Christ, the Church, into a strong, unified, and impactful force for good in the world. We strive to be a church that not only gathers but also goes. Making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us.
